Sydney, Australia., November 18, 2020 -- UpGuard, the third-party risk and attack surface management platform, announces major feature releases in digital summit series, UpGuard Summit, during an exclusive presentation from UpGuard Chief Product Officer, Daniel Bradbury.
UpGuard's integrated risk platform combines third party security ratings, security assessment questionnaires, and threat intelligence capabilities to give businesses a full and comprehensive view of their risk surface. This quarter alone, UpGuard has released over 30 features to the UpGuard platform, including 6 major releases. These major features include:
- Vendor Report: UpGuard users can now generate a custom report that outlines the security posture of any monitored vendor and share it with non-users. Reports can be configured to include automated scanning, questionnaires, and additional evidence, or be based on completed risk assessments and branded with their company logo
- Additional Evidence: This feature allows users to capture and store published security or compliance-related documentation and any identified risks without requiring that the customer proactively send a risk assessment. This information can be included in a vendor’s risk profile or cited as part of a risk assessment of the vendor, maintaining the audit trail.
- Enhanced Vulnerability Detection: UpGuard now has the ability to confirm verified versus unverified vulnerabilities, meaning they may exist. When verified vulnerabilities are detected, customers will be able to see them on their and their vendor’s risk profile and use them in remediation workflows. In addition, users can now ignore unverified vulnerabilities to remove them from the vulnerabilities list.
