Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

Endpoint detection and response (EDR), also known as endpoint threat detection, is a type of cybersecurity tool that identifies and mitigates cyber threats.

Unlike traditional endpoint security solutions, EDR tools use continuous monitoring to pinpoint indicators of attacks (IOAs). This functionality allows EDR to offer greater protection against cyber threats, in real-time.

EDR solutions are more effective than traditional endpoint security solutions as they can take action against to cyber threats.
